Razor Sharp Originality from Gillette

We men all know how Gillette makes its money.

Every two to three years they release a new razor equipped with double the number of blades. Some of their razors even come with batteries. Gillette is an expert at creating buzz around their razors and they quickly become a marketing hype. Their commercials we take for granted: it makes perfect sense that three blades shave better than two, right? Five blades must result in a much smoother skin than can be achieved with just three.

Only at the grocery store we become aware of their tricky marketing techniques, these razor blades are darn expensive! Way more expensive than what I paid for the razor in the first place.

Yes, I’m a happy user of the five-bladed Gillette Fusion razor. But what’s next? I find it hard to believe that they’ll release a ten-bladed razor will be Gillette. But when they come up with original Flash banners like below for Mach 3 razor, no doubt I’ll buy whatever shaving products they will come up with next, won’t you? It’s just the best a man can get.
